Joe was nervous. Very very nervous. It was week before the final match up, and he knew that THIS was it. It was his final chance to shine. or crash. He had been practicing intensely for weeks, barely going home and barely seeing his newly-wed wife Sophie. But, this was for them. If he won...wow, the possibilities. They would be set for life, or at least for a few years. Joe knew that no matter how much he practiced, he could never be truly prepared. Live in the moment. fight in the moment. Weeks of practice may make limbs fast, punches harder, but it certainly could not fully prepare one for the challenge of the current champion. He had stood on the pedestal for years, coming down for no one. Joe hoped to be the one able to knock him down.
